Where did you hear about the Corbetts Challenge?

Welcome to the Macmillan Corbett Challenge 2008

Following the terriffic success of last years event, we are delighted to invite you to join us again during the month of May to reach our goal of conquering all 219 Corbetts throughout Scotland.

Last year the event raised a fantastic £40,000 with over 350 people registering and 131 Corbetts being climbed.  This year we want to make the event even bigger and better.

Corbetts are the little brothers of the more famous Munros but don't let that fool you -they offer some of the most stunning views and satisfying walks in Scotland.

The Corbetts are hills between 2500 feet and 2999 feet. They’re spread throughout Scotland from the Borders to Sutherland and there’s even some on the Western Isles.

So, whether you’re looking to walk in the rolling southern hills, access some pretty inaccessible Corbetts in the Cairngorms or do ‘summit’ different and visit the far north west or the Western Isles – there’s something here for you!

On this web site you should find everything you need to take part in our Macmillan Corbett Challenge 2008!   Use the menu options to find out more and sign up!

Macmillan Cancer Support are grateful for the advice and assistance received from the Scottish Mountaineering Club in the development of this challenge.

1 in 3 people will be diagnosed with cancer. Cancer affects us all and we can all help. By signing up to conquer a Corbett this May you’ll be helping and we are very grateful. We are Macmillan Cancer Support.
